École Précieux-Sang houses K to Grade 8 students and daycare, both in need to have their small, yet highly used, play space rehabilitated. The existing grass soccer fields were in disrepair and required an alternate long-term solution to address high-traffic areas. ft3 was engaged to create a conceptual master plan that addressed the bare-surfaced playing fields while re-imagining the current existing infrastructure with new natural play opportunities.

The master plan introduced synthetic turf soccer fields, an outdoor classroom, a natural play area, saucer swings, musical play components, and a drainage plan to alleviate existing issues. Phase 1 of the project included the installation of synthetic turf soccer fields, a natural play area and redirection of surface drainage.
