Since growing up in Fisher Branch, Man., art and construction have provided the fuel and fire to Lindsay Imlah’s creative endeavours. Whether she was crafting at the kitchen table or helping her parents with building and renovation projects, Lindsay discovered how to work with different materials and fit each piece together to realize the overarching vision.

A tour through the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Architecture in high school helped Lindsay discover the perfect intersection for her lifelong interests. She eventually completed her first year in the program, choosing to pursue interior design as she enjoyed the puzzle-esque process of finding the best combinations for layout, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and other fixtures to best suit the client’s needs.

Lindsay joined ft3 in 2019 and has since built a well-rounded portfolio of work that spans the firm's Health and Wellness, Corporate Office and Multi-family Housing areas. Clients look to Lindsay for her ability to create spaces that embody their needs and reflect their visions. Her humility around her career has enabled her to prioritize learning and growing as a designer. She’s always on the hunt for new ideas, products and technologies to share and bring value to clients, recognizing that genuine inspiration stemming from a well-designed space is not only in its skin but from how people move within it.
