Since completing his Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad Piloto de Colombia, Andres Mejia Houghton has worked across three continents, eventually settling in Canada. He soon acquired his Strategic Management diploma from Centennial College in Toronto before joining ft3 as an architectural technologist and now project manager in Winnipeg. 

Andres leans into the technical side of architecture, strengthening his technical expertise and broadening his design experience through improved fluency in specialized tools and software. His commitment to expanding his skill set in these areas has also contributed to a deeper, more meaningful understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction systems.

Finding inspiration in the creative process, Andres enjoys exploring and collaborating on ideas that contribute to functional and meaningful spaces. His work encompasses commercial, housing, and community-based projects, where he focuses on balancing innovation with efficiency to produce high-quality solutions for clients.
