Title:
Landscape Architectural Intern
ft3 Project Highlight:
The ability to positively influence and transform people’s lives through landscape architecture thrills Ben Gaudes. He cites Berczy Park in Toronto, ON—a treed pedestrian corridor with a cheeky dog-themed water feature—as inspiration and an example of the joy that landscape architecture can bring to people and the surrounding environment.
After completing his Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Manitoba, Ben joined ft3 as a landscape architectural intern. He enjoys the team’s camaraderie and values their knowledge and expertise when assisting on projects.
As Ben continues to grow in his career, he’s eager to experience and explore the community engagement process to hone his skill set and elevate his design approach while challenging his theories around landscape architecture. Additionally, he wants decision-makers to view landscape architecture as an intrinsic discipline to their project, helping inform and influence healthier and more holistic environments.
