While attending the University of Manitoba, Ashley Vinsky discovered how to direct her technical and creative nature into a professional career. She completed the university's Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Interior Design programs, receiving the Manitoba Graduate Scholarship and developing a passion for designing spaces that leave a positive impact on their users.

After honing her project experience at other design firms, Ashley joined ft3 in 2023, bringing her expertise in 3D visualizations, presentation boards, and material selections to the firm. These roles within a project excite Ashley because she enjoys figuring out how each piece fits and functions together to realize the client’s vision.

With an emphasis on healthy, engaging, and dynamic spaces, Ashley sees her career in interior design as a responsibility to support human connection, environmental responsibility, and inclusive, accessible interventions. Her practicum explored these themes within Winnipeg’s Exchange District in the design of a multi-use co-living space aimed at reducing experiences of loneliness among residents and placing greater emphasis on the importance of community relationships.
