Title:

Associate, Landscape Architect

ft3 Project Highlight:

Kapabamayak Achaak Healing Forest

In the wake of a backpacking trip through Australia, where he spent time exploring the country's natural landscape and well-designed public spaces, Ryan Epp realized he wanted to continue learning how design facilitated these experiences. Ryan completed the University of Manitoba’s Bachelor of Environmental Design program and realized that landscape architecture would touch on his desire to help people while satisfying his interest in art, science and natural systems.

Ryan joined ft3 in 2007 as a landscape architectural intern, jumping on projects that would bring him a wide breadth of experience within Health and Wellness and Multi-family Housing. One of his most notable projects, Kapabamayak Achaak Healing Forest, reflects Ryan’s commitment to the profession, transcending the role of a landscape architect to become a stakeholder in its success: a Keeper of the Forest within the not-for-profit organization/group.

Now an associate with ft3, Ryan is an integral part of all landscape architectural projects. He uses his knowledge, inspired by the land and its stewards, to transform spaces into beautiful destinations that respond to and enhance the land, creating a better world for current and future generations.
