Rest Haven Personal Care Home

With an initial career goal as an environmental chemist, Kelsey Grabowski switched to interior design, satisfying her desire to create beautiful spaces that protect the health and safety of the occupants. Kelsey completed her Master of Interior Design from the University of Manitoba, where she excelled, appearing on the Dean’s Honour list and receiving the Roy C. Rettinger Graduate Scholarship for Interior Design. Kelsey also had the opportunity to work as a research assistant for the university’s Centre on Aging, where she assisted a multidisciplinary research team in examining how interior renovations to a special care unit for persons with dementia affected their well-being.

Since Kelsey has joined ft3, she’s completed her NCIDQ exam and joined PIDIM, making her a Professional Interior Designer at the firm. Her portfolio includes a wide variety of Health and Wellness projects, including renovations to several hospitals, clinics, and long-term care homes.

With her research background, Kelsey is extremely detail oriented and takes great value in ensuring her clients remain satisfied throughout each stage of the design process. No matter the project, Kelsey values socially and environmentally responsible design above all else.
