As one of ft3’s principals, Joanne McFadden recognizes the power behind interior design in making life more beautiful for people. Inspired early in her career by the philosophies of Frank Lloyd Wright, Joanne aims to realize and achieve the “reason, rhyme, and meaning to life” of an interior space through colour, texture, and scale manipulation.

Joanne joined ft3 as an interior designer in 1998 and has since become responsible for overseeing the firm's interior design department. She also sits on the Professional Interior Designers Institute of Manitoba as President. Over the last decade and a half, Joanne has built her portfolio primarily in ft3's Corporate Office and Health and Wellness sectors, exploring new ways to enhance interior spaces that positively impact people's lives.

Taking inspiration from design and architecture installations globally—preferably firsthand and up close—Joanne enjoys re-imagining and refining the use of elements as she applies them to new projects she works on at ft3. In turn, clients appreciate her ability to marry form and function and prioritize innovation and creativity when responding to design challenges.
