Unlike his dad and two older brothers who are engineers, Wilfred Mendoza chose architecture, desiring a career with a more creative edge. He acquired his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines, and passed the Professional Regulation Commission’s exams before moving to Brunei to hone his design and project architect skills.

In Canada, Wilfred accredited his education through the Canadian Architectural Certification Board. He took Building Code Analysis and Building Construction Materials courses from Red River College and built on his technical knowledge through architectural and interior design technologist roles at various design firms in Winnipeg.

Wilfred became fully registered with the Manitoba Association of Architects in 2022. While he has developed expertise in spatial planning and design, building code analysis, and project coordination, Wilfred never shies away from a new challenge, looking forward to the thrill of every project where he can think and analyze on his feet.
