Spa Nordik, an innovative concept in therapeutic spa experiences arrived in Winnipeg with a 2,000 sq.m. (21,000 sq.ft.) facility consisting of a main building and five independent pavilions. The main structure houses a massage wing, locker rooms, reception, a restaurant and the new golf services clubhouse. The pavilions include a dry sauna, steam rooms, relaxation rooms and a gazebo. An open courtyard features several hot tubs and tempered baths as well as a cold plunge, sun-catch areas and a patio for the restaurant. The spa’s design accentuates nature as a healing element, offering a seamless transition from exterior to interior and an abundance of natural materials with refined Scandinavian sensibility.

Construction was completed in December 2014. (GPPArchitecture, Design and Architect of Record / ft3 Associate Architect)
